Iran ceasefire back on ‘for now’ after Bahrain & Kuwait struck

This past weekend saw the US and Iran trade multiple attacks, straining an already delicate ceasefire.

A residential building in Bahrain was heavily damaged in an Iranian attack, its Interior Ministry said, and a Qatari citizen died because of shrapnel resulting from “the military operations in the area,” according to Qatar’s Interior Ministry.

CNN’s Paula Hancocks has the latest on the renewed strikes, and CNN global affairs analyst Brett McGurk and retired Air Force colonel Cedric Leighton break down the “new normal” of the fragile US-Iran ceasefire. Also, Middle East analyst Greg Carlstrom says both sides are showing that they don’t want full-blown war to resume.
