US sex abuse laws : Bill introduced to remove statute of limitations

Democrats in the US Congress are introducing legislation to eliminate the statute of limitations shielding sex traffickers. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer unveiled the bill—standing alongside the victims of the convicted sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein. It’s named Virginia’s law—after Virginia Giuffre—one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers, who died last year.
