Sri Lankans brace for fuel price increase: Farmers face higher production costs

Food and energy prices have increased in Sri Lanka amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The government is rationing fuel and has declared Wednesdays a public holiday to try and conserve existing stocks.
The crisis that comes in the middle of a rice-harvesting season is already affecting farmers.
