Typhoon Dolphin makes landfall on China’s eastern coast with 150 km/h winds, triggering widespread flooding and damage. More than a million people are evacuated from vulnerable areas in Shanghai and Zhejiang. Flights are cancelled, businesses shut and streets inundated. As the storm weakens inland, authorities in Jiangxi and Hubei warn of landslides and flash floods.
