Speaking on Monday at the start of a trip to Africa, Pope Leo said he had ‘no fear . . . of the Trump administration’, adding that he would continue speaking out ‘loudly against war’.
The declaration comes after Donald Trump accused Pope Leo, the first American pope, of being ‘weak’ on crime and ‘terrible’ for foreign policy.
