Gaza’s Health Ministry is facing a new crisis created by Israel’s blockade of the Strip.
There is a growing shortage of industrial oil and spare parts that is threatening to close the few medical units still operating in Gaza.
Many hospital generators have been damaged others are working at the limit of their capacity.
If they fail there will be no power to run Gaza’s health system, putting the lives of hundreds of patients at immediate risk.
